After a successful start in the Polish Balloon Championships, the GASPOL Team and pilot Arek Iwański kept up the good work. During the competition in Ełk, our crew placed second.

The competition started great for the GASPOL Team. After four flights and a dozen or so competitions Arek Iwański was leading with an advantage of more than 700 points over his closest rival. Unfortunately, a mistake at the beginning of the last flight caused the lead to gradually decrease with every competition played.

At the end of the competition Arek Iwański was able to record 13,665 points on his account, but it turned out this was... 91 points too short to win. In the end, the winner of the competition was Tomasz Filus (Skywalkers Balloon Club Sosnowiec), while the place on the third step of the podium went to Arkadiusz Sionkowski from the Mościcki Balloon Club.
